SINAMORE is currently working in studio to record the successor to A New Day. The recordings for the yet unnamed album started on monday 7th May.
The drums and part of the guitars will be recorded by Juho Räihä (Before the Dawn, Gloria Morti). The rest of the recordings will be done at Villvox Studios in Lahti, Finland by Mr. Aleksanteri Kuosa (previously worked with: Before the Dawn, Profane Omen, Dawn of Solace etc.) who will also mix the album. The album will be mastered later this summer at the infamous Finnvox Studios.
The band have got some productional help from Tuomas Saukkonen (Before the Dawn, Dawn of Solace, Teargod, Bonegrinder etc.) This is what the guys have to say about the new stuff.
We think we´ve stepped over onto darker ground. The new material follows the musical direction found on the last tracks that made their way onto A NEW DAY (Misery Carnival, Drama for Two, and Fallen). The songs are deeper, more melancholic, powerful, and definately more Metal than on the previous album.
Expect new dark anthems in autumn 2007.
In the meanwhile you can read what is happening in the studio right here in our official studio diary. We try to please your curious minds every once and while with some new visual, audiovisual and literal pleasures…stay tuned!
